Efteling Park

Efteling is one of the oldest theme parks in Europe. Since opening its doors to the public in 1952, it has paid homage to over 100 million visitors. It started as a nature park, turned into a Fairy tale forest and now it is a full-sized amusement park. Efteling is the largest and most visited theme park in the Netherlands. It lies on a 2 square kilometre piece of land (double the size of the original Disney Park in California) in Kaatsheuvel, municipality of Loon op Zand. Efteling is themed around legends, fairy tales, fables myths, and folklore.

Main Attractions in Efteling

The Efteling amusement park is made up of several divisions; the theme park (built in 1952), the 18-hole golf course (built in 1995), Efteling Theatre (built in 2002), the four-star Efteling Hotel (built in 1992), and the holiday park with bungalows (built in 2009).
