A Tribute
The Veteran's Memorial is currently in a poor location and in dismal repair. Our veterans deserve a fitting tribute and to that end, the Memorial shall be relocated to a more prominent site near the center of the district. The Memorial itself is a historic monument and shall not be modified, but will be raised onto a pedestal with tall fountains on either side, flowing into a sparkling pool beneath. The entire district will be renamed Memorial Park in honor and memory of our veterans. The name of the roller coaster, Hero, was chosen in tribute to the courage and bravery of Oregon's finest.
